1.The pick up roller and separation pad were cleaned but the problem is still there, therefore a new separation pad should be replaced.   2.The toner cartridge was checked, the printer was cleaned, and now it is ok. 3.Norton 2003 and WinAntiVirusPro 2006 were removed, McAfee 8 was installed, viruses were scanned and now they are ok.  4.Upgrading windows 98 O.S to windows Millenium, AVG 7 antivirus was removed and McAfee antivirus was installed.   5. A new battery should be replaced if necessary.  6. The O.S was repaired on both Computers.
