Local & Lower Local Government Revenue Sharing, Management of Finances at Village, Ward, Mitaa Level
Description: This study covers 7 higher local governments and 27 lower (including Villages, Mitaa and Wards). Due to the time constraints, the study is somehow adversely affected by a certain lack of consolidated data in a number of local governments met (in particular LLGs). The issue here is partly that only a few local governments have structured information ready for analysis and inclusion in the templates prepared by the Consultant, partly that the Consultant has had only very little time to carry out the necessary analyses of budgets, cashbooks, receipts and final accounts.
